The first few weeks in the library have been very exciting! All of our students have been able to come in, checkout books, and learn about the library!
Kindergarten, First, and Second grade friends learned about taking care of books by seeing what not to do from The Pigeon. They also got a kick out of Cookie Monster not understanding that a library does not have cookies! They were able to pick out some really great books to take home and read!

Third, Fourth, and Fifth grade friends played Pokemon Go library style, catching 18 Pokemon in the library and learning about the different areas, including our cool new Lego wall! These kids are excited to listen to Playaways and read Bluebonnet Books!

All grade levels helped create and agree to our library social contract. Our social contract has around 750 fingerprints showing that students understand that they should always do their best in the library!

It all has been so fun! Click here to see more pictures from our week of orientations. I cannot wait to do more fun things in the library!
