Battle of the Bluebonnets

The annual Battle of the Bluebonnets competition happened at the Dell Diamond on March 7, 2017. All 34 elementary schools in Round Rock had students competing. Four amazing readers from Union Hill represented our school well by competing with a lot of passion and just enough edge. We ended up placing 5th overall...that's amazing! Our superintendent, Dr. Flores, caused a silly stir by inviting ALL of the competitors up front to take a selfie! It was such a fun event and I am so incredibly proud of our team!
